Hughes Sub Surface Eng requires Snr dive technicians for works in the UK working on a DP 2 vessel, with immediate effect for up & coming projects in the offshore renewable sector, candidates must be in possession & able to demonstrate the following:
Required Certification
• City & Guilds in an engineering discipline
• Have suitable demonstrable experience as a Snr Dive Tech working offshore on a DSV
• Be in possession of a suitable offshore medical
• Be in possession of a suitable offshore Survival
Demonstrate the following
• Conducting the Planned Maintenance Schedule and the updating of the Preventive Maintenance System records.
• Emergency and running repairs of the Dive system and ancillary equipment under the direction of the Superintendent / Supervisor.
• Stocktaking and inventory control of the system spares and consumables.
• Raising Purchase Requisitions to maintain the spares inventory at the correct level.
• Completion of system and project paperwork (e.g. inventory, weekly technical / status / safety reports, etc) under the direction of the Superintendent or Supervisor.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work using own initiative.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to build effective working relationships.
• Ability to effectively manage own workload, and work within given timescales (both internal and external), ensuring project requirements are met.
• Adaptability and problem solving capability
• Integrity and a high commitment to the performance of the role and business
